Retranscription des paroles de la vidéo: brothers and sisters we are in a war not a war fought with swords or guns but a war waged against the flesh against sin and against the schemes of Satan himself one of the most deceptive traps the enemy uses to ensnare believers is sexual sin specifically the sin of lust and self-gratification the world tells you it is harmless natural even necessary but the word of God tells us something very different this is not just a personal struggle it is a spiritual battle and Satan is using it to keep people in chains the flesh is deceptive it promises satisfaction but delivers bondage it whispers that sin is harmless that it is just a natural part of being human but in reality it is a tool Satan uses to enslave those who give in to it from the very beginning humanity has been deceived by the desires of the flesh in the Garden of Eden Eve saw that the fruit was good for food and a delight to the eyes genesis 3:6 it looked appealing it seemed beneficial but in the end it brought death that is how sin operates it appears to satisfy but it ultimately destroys the Bible warns us that the flesh and the spirit are in constant opposition galatians 5:17 says « For the desires of the flesh are against the spirit and the desires of the spirit are against the flesh for these are opposed to each other to keep you from doing the things you want to do. » This means that every believer is in a battle the desires of the flesh lust greed pride and selfishness constantly pull us away from the holiness that God commands if we are not careful we can be deceived into thinking that indulging these desires is harmless when in reality they are leading us down a path of destruction one of the greatest deceptions of the flesh is the idea that we can control sin people often believe they can indulge in small compromises without consequence but sin never stays small james 1:14-15 explains this progression but each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death what starts as a fleeting thought or a minor indulgence quickly grows into an addiction a habit or a stronghold sin does not remain contained it spreads it enslaves and it separates us from God the flesh also deceives by making sin seem personal and private many justify their sinful behaviors by believing that as long as no one else is affected it is not a big deal but sin is never truly private because it affects our relationship with God psalm 66:18 says « If I had cherished iniquity in my heart the Lord would not have listened. » When we indulge the flesh we harden our hearts toward God prayer becomes difficult worship feels empty and conviction becomes dull this is how the enemy works slowly pulling us away from the presence of God by feeding the desires of the flesh the only way to overcome the deception of the flesh is through the power of the Holy Spirit romans 8:13 tells us « For if you live according to the flesh you will die but if by the spirit you put to death the deeds of the body you will live. » This means we do not fight sin with willpower alone we must rely on the spirit to strengthen us we must renew our minds daily with the word of God flee from temptation and walk in obedience to Christ the flesh may be deceptive but God’s truth is greater victory is possible for those who submit to him secret sin is one of the most dangerous traps a believer can fall into it is the sin that remains hidden the sin that no one else sees the sin that is covered up with a mask of righteousness while it may seem harmless or insignificant at first secret sin grows in the darkness slowly enslaving the one who indulges in it it deceives isolates and destroys what begins as a private struggle soon becomes a stronghold that grips the heart dulls spiritual sensitivity and separates the sinner from God the danger of secret sin is that it gives the illusion of control many people believe that as long as no one knows they can manage it control it and keep it from affecting their lives but sin is never stagnant it grows james 1:15 warns « Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death. » Sin does not remain in the place where it began it expands it multiplies and it consumes a small compromise leads to a greater one and before long the person who thought they had control finds themselves bound in chains another danger of secret sin is that it separates believers from the presence of God isaiah 59:2 declares « But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear. » Unconfessed sin builds a barrier between us and the Lord it does not take away salvation but it hinders our fellowship with him prayer becomes empty worship feels hollow and the conviction of the Holy Spirit becomes easy to ignore many who continue in secret sin find themselves drifting further and further from God unable to experience his presence or hear his voice clearly secret sin also breeds hypocrisy those who live with hidden sin must constantly pretend to be something they are not they may continue going to church reading the Bible and even serving in ministry all while living in direct rebellion against God jesus warned against this kind of deception in Matthew 23:27 saying « Woe to you scribes and Pharisees hypocrites for you are like whitewashed tombs which outwardly appear beautiful but within are full of dead people’s bones and all uncleanness. » A life of hypocrisy does not just deceive others it ultimately deceives the one living in it the only way to break free from secret sin is to bring it into the light when John 1:9 gives us the promise if we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness confession brings freedom it removes the weight of guilt and allows God’s grace to bring healing this is why James 5:16 commands us « Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another that you may be healed. » When sin is exposed it loses its power the enemy wants believers to stay isolated in shame but God calls us to walk in truth and accountability secret sin may seem manageable but it is a deadly poison that destroys the soul the longer it remains hidden the stronger its grip becomes the answer is not to hide but to confess repent and walk in the light of Christ true freedom is found not in secrecy but in surrender to God’s transforming grace the battle for purity is one of the most difficult and relentless struggles in the Christian life in a world saturated with immorality temptation lurks around every corner seeking to entangle believers in sin the pursuit of purity is not merely about external behavior it is about the condition of the heart jesus made this clear when he said in Matthew 5’8 « Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. » Purity is about more than just avoiding sin it is about being wholly devoted to God desiring his will above all else the battle for purity is difficult because it is fought on multiple fronts the world the flesh and the devil all conspire against the believer the world promotes impurity celebrating sin and normalizing that which is detestable to God society tells us that lust greed and selfishness are acceptable even desirable meanwhile the flesh our own sinful nature pulls us toward temptation craving what is forbidden and then there is the enemy Satan who actively seeks to exploit every weakness to whisper lies and to drag us into bondage without vigilance a believer can quickly become entangled in sin drifting further from the holiness God commands scripture repeatedly calls believers to flee from sin and pursue righteousness in 1 Corinthians 6:18 Paul commands « Flee from sexual immorality. » This is not a passive suggestion it is an urgent command the Bible does not tell us to fight temptation or reason with it it tells us to run joseph set an example of this when he fled from Piper’s wife in Genesis 39 he did not linger debate or compromise he ran purity is maintained not by flirting with temptation but by fleeing from it yet purity is not just about avoiding sin it is about pursuing holiness 2 Timothy 2:22 instructs believers to flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness faith love and peace along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart avoiding impurity is not enough our hearts must be filled with the things of God this means saturating our minds with scripture seeking accountability and surrounding ourselves with fellow believers who encourage holiness if we are not actively pursuing purity we will inevitably be drawn toward impurity the battle for purity is won by renewing the mind romans 12:12 commands « Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind. » And this means replacing the lies of the world with the truth of God’s word it means guarding what we allow into our hearts being careful about what we watch what we listen to and and what we meditate on proverbs 4:23 warns « Keep your heart with all vigilance for from it flow the springs of life if we do not guard our hearts impurity will take root and grow. » The pursuit of pure purity is not easy but it is necessary it is a daily battle one that requires discipline accountability and dependence on the Holy Spirit but the reward is worth it a pure heart is one that sees God experiences his presence and walks in true freedom the world may offer fleeting pleasure but only God offers eternal joy the battle for purity is not just about avoiding sin it is about choosing the better portion choosing Christ above all else the mind is one of the most powerful aspects of human existence it is the battlefield where spiritual warfare takes place the control center of thoughts decisions and actions scripture speaks extensively about the importance of the mind warning that how we think determines how we live proverbs 23:7 says « For as he thinks in his heart so is he. » This means that our thoughts shape our identity our habits and ultimately our destiny the power of the mind is evident in how it influences behavior what we dwell on in our thoughts eventually manifests in our actions if the mind is filled with truth righteousness and the word of God it will lead to a life of holiness and obedience however if it is consumed with negativity impurity and worldly desires it will lead to sin and destruction this is why Romans 12:02 commands « Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind. » Transformation begins in the mind a renewed mind sees the world through the lens of scripture rather than through the lies of the enemy satan understands the power of the mind which is why his primary tactic is deception from the beginning he has sought to corrupt human thinking by distorting God’s truth in the Garden of Eden he deceived Eve by twisting what God had said genesis 3015 the enemy still works the same way today planting lies in the minds of believers causing them to doubt God’s word question their identity in Christ and compromise their faith this is why 2 Corinthians 10:05 instructs us to take every thought captive to obey Christ we must not allow our minds to be passive battlefields where the enemy freely sws deception instead we must actively fight against falsehood with the truth of script the mind also has the power to shape faith what we believe about God about ourselves and about the world around us will determine how we live if a believer fills their mind with the promises of God they will walk in confidence and trust in him however if they allow fear doubt and anxiety to take root they will live in constant worry and defeat philippians 4:8 provides the key to a strong and faithful mind whatever is true whatever is honorable whatever is just whatever is pure whatever is lovely whatever is commendable if there is any excellence if there is anything worthy of praise think about these things the mind must be disciplined to dwell on what is godly not what is corrupt the power of the mind is not just in what it absorbs but in how it is disciplined believers must guard their thoughts reject sinful influences and continually renew their minds through prayer and meditation on God’s word a mind that is surrendered to Christ will lead to a life that glorifies him the battle begins in the mind but through the power of the Holy Spirit victory is assured true strength is not found in human ability personal willpower or worldly success it is found in Christ alone the Bible makes it clear that our own strength is limited fleeting and ultimately insufficient no matter how strong a person may seem whether in intellect physical endurance or emotional resilience there will always come a time when that strength fails but for those who are in Christ true and lasting strength comes not from within themselves but from the one who holds all power and authority philippians 4:13 declares « I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. » This verse is not about personal achievement or self-empowerment it is about absolute dependence on Jesus for the ability to endure to persevere and to overcome life’s greatest challenges the strength found in Christ is different from the strength the world promotes the world values independence self-reliance and pride in one’s abilities however scripture teaches that strength is found in surrender paul writes in Corinthians 12:9-10 « But he said to me my grace is sufficient for you for my power is made perfect in weakness therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses so that the power of Christ may rest upon me for when I am weak then I am strong this is a profound truth god’s power is most evident when we acknowledge our own weakness when we reach the end of ourselves when our strength is exhausted that is when we are positioned to fully rely on Christ’s strength the strength of Christ is necessary for every aspect of the Christian life it is his strength that enables believers to resist temptation to endure suffering to love the unlovable and to remain faithful in trials without Christ’s power these things would be impossible and is too strong for human willpower alone suffering is too heavy to bear and faithfulness in the face of persecution requires supernatural endurance jesus told his disciples in John 15:05 « Apart from me you can do nothing it is only by abiding in him remaining in close fellowship seeking him in prayer and living according to his word that believers can access the strength they need another aspect of Christ’s strength is the peace and confidence it provides those who rely on their own strength are often plagued by fear fear of failure fear of loss fear of the unknown but those who stand in the strength of Christ have a firm foundation isaiah 41:10 assures « Fear not for I am with you be not dismayed for I am your God i will strengthen you i will help you i will uphold you with my righteous right hand. » The strength of Christ is not just for enduring difficulties it is also the source of deep peace knowing that he is always present always faithful and always in control true strength is not found in self-sufficiency but in complete dependence on Jesus his strength never fails never diminishes and is always available to those who trust in him to walk in his strength is to walk in victory not because of what we can do but because of what he has already done the Christian life was never meant to be lived in isolation from the beginning God designed his people to live in community supporting and encouraging one another in faith one of the most crucial aspects of this community is accountability the willingness to be held responsible for one’s actions beliefs and spiritual growth without accountability believers are vulnerable to deception sin and spiritual stagnation proverbs 27:17 states « Iron sharpens iron and one man sharpens another. » This sharpening process is essential for staying on the right path avoiding sin and growing in maturity accountability is necessary because of the deceitfulness of sin Hebrews 3:13 warns but exhort one another every day as long as it is called today that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin sin does not usually appear in its most obvious and destructive form it creeps in slowly taking root in the heart before manifesting in outward actions without accountability it is easy to justify sinful behavior ignore conviction and drift further from God when believers are connected to a community that speaks truth into their lives they are more likely to recognize sin before it takes hold true accountability requires humility many people resist accountability because it exposes weaknesses and sin making them feel vulnerable however scripture teaches that humility is essential for growth james 5:16 says « Therefore confess your sins to one another and pray for one another that you may be healed. » Confession brings freedom and accountability strengthens believers against future temptation a prideful heart resists correction but a humble heart welcomes it knowing that discipline leads to righteousness while accountability helps believers guard against sin renewal is what keeps them moving forward in faith renewal is the process of continually being transformed into the likeness of Christ romans 12:02 commands « Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind that by testing you may discern what is the will of God what is good and acceptable and perfect. » This renewal is not a one-time event but a lifelong process the world constantly seeks to influence thoughts values and behaviors which is why believers must intentionally renew their minds with God’s truth renewal happens through the power of the Holy Spirit the study of scripture and time in prayer psalm 51:10 expresses the cry of a heart seeking renewal create in me a clean heart oh God and renew a right spirit within me when believers commit themselves to seeking God daily they experience his transforming power replacing old sinful patterns with new godly desires this renewal strengthens their faith equips them for spiritual battles and draws them closer to Christ accountability and renewal go hand in hand without accountability renewal is difficult because unchecked sin can hinder spiritual growth without renewal accountability can become a mere routine rather than a transformative experience god calls his people to live in community to encourage one another and to be continually renewed by his word a Christian who embraces both accountability and renewal will stand firm in the faith growing in holiness and becoming more like Christ every day .

0.08 secret sin may seem manageable but it is
0.08 a deadly poison that destroys the soul
0.08 the longer it remains hidden the
0.08 stronger its grip becomes the answer is
0.08 not to hide but to confess repent and
0.08 walk in the light of Christ true freedom
0.08 is found not in secrecy but in surrender
0.08 to God&;s transforming grace the battle
0.08 for purity is one of the most difficult
0.08 and relentless struggles in the
0.08 Christian life in a world saturated with
0.08 immorality temptation lurks around every
0.08 corner seeking to entangle believers in
0.08 sin the pursuit of purity is not merely
0.08 about external behavior it is about the
0.08 condition of the heart
0.08 jesus made this clear when he said in
0.08 Matthew 5&;8 "Blessed are the pure in
0.08 heart for they shall see God." Purity is
0.08 about more than just avoiding sin it is
0.08 about being wholly devoted to God
0.08 desiring his will above all
0.08 else the battle for purity is difficult
0.08 because it is fought on multiple fronts
0.08 the world the flesh and the devil all
0.08 conspire against the believer the world
0.08 promotes impurity celebrating sin and
0.08 normalizing that which is detestable to
0.08 God society tells us that lust greed and
0.08 selfishness are acceptable even
0.08 desirable meanwhile the flesh our own
0.08 sinful nature pulls us toward temptation
0.08 craving what is forbidden and then there
0.08 is the enemy Satan who actively seeks to
0.08 exploit every weakness to whisper lies
0.08 and to drag us into bondage without
0.08 vigilance a believer can quickly become
0.08 entangled in sin drifting further from
0.08 the holiness God commands scripture
0.08 repeatedly calls believers to flee from
0.08 sin and pursue righteousness in 1
0.08 Corinthians 6:18 Paul commands "Flee
0.08 from sexual immorality." This is not a
0.08 passive suggestion it is an urgent
0.08 command the Bible does not tell us to
0.08 fight temptation or reason with it it
0.08 tells us to run joseph set an example of
0.08 this when he fled from Piper&;s wife in
0.08 Genesis 39 he did not linger debate or
0.08 compromise he ran purity is maintained
0.08 not by flirting with temptation but by
0.08 fleeing from it yet purity is not just
0.08 about avoiding sin it is about pursuing
0.08 holiness 2 Timothy 2:22 instructs
0.08 believers to flee youthful passions and
0.08 pursue righteousness faith love and
0.08 peace along with those who call on the
0.08 Lord from a pure heart avoiding impurity
0.08 is not enough our hearts must be filled
0.08 with the things of God this means
0.08 saturating our minds with scripture
0.08 seeking accountability and surrounding
0.08 ourselves with fellow believers who
0.08 encourage holiness if we are not
0.08 actively pursuing purity we will
0.08 inevitably be drawn toward impurity the
0.08 battle for purity is won by renewing the
0.08 mind romans 12:12 commands "Do not be
0.08 conformed to this world but be
0.08 transformed by the renewal of your
0.08 mind." And this means replacing the lies
0.08 of the world with the truth of God&;s
0.08 word it means guarding what we allow
0.08 into our hearts being careful about what
0.08 we watch what we listen to and and what
0.08 we meditate on proverbs 4:23 warns "Keep
0.08 your heart with all vigilance for from
0.08 it flow the springs of life if we do not
0.08 guard our hearts impurity will take root
0.08 and grow." The pursuit of pure purity is
0.08 not easy but it is necessary it is a
0.08 daily battle one that requires
0.08 discipline accountability and dependence
0.08 on the Holy Spirit but the reward is
0.08 worth it a pure heart is one that sees
0.08 God experiences his presence and walks
0.08 in true freedom the world may offer
0.08 fleeting pleasure but only God offers
0.08 eternal joy the battle for purity is not
0.08 just about avoiding sin it is about
0.08 choosing the better portion choosing
0.08 Christ above all else the mind is one of
0.08 the most powerful aspects of human
0.08 existence it is the battlefield where
0.08 spiritual warfare takes place the
0.08 control center of thoughts decisions and
0.08 actions scripture speaks extensively
0.08 about the importance of the mind warning
0.08 that how we think determines how we live
0.08 proverbs 23:7 says "For as he thinks in
0.08 his heart so is
0.08 he." This means that our thoughts shape
0.08 our identity our habits and ultimately
0.08 our destiny the power of the mind is
0.08 evident in how it influences behavior
0.08 what we dwell on in our thoughts
0.08 eventually manifests in our actions if
0.08 the mind is filled with truth
0.08 righteousness and the word of God it
0.08 will lead to a life of holiness and
0.08 obedience however if it is consumed with
0.08 negativity impurity and worldly desires
0.08 it will lead to sin and
0.08 destruction this is why Romans 12:02
0.08 commands "Do not be conformed to this
0.08 world but be transformed by the renewal
0.08 of your mind." Transformation begins in
0.08 the mind a renewed mind sees the world
0.08 through the lens of scripture rather
0.08 than through the lies of the enemy satan
0.08 understands the power of the mind which
0.08 is why his primary tactic is deception
0.08 from the beginning he has sought to
0.08 corrupt human thinking by distorting
0.08 God&;s truth in the Garden of Eden he
0.08 deceived Eve by twisting what God had
0.08 said genesis
0.08 3015 the enemy still works the same way
0.08 today planting lies in the minds of
0.08 believers causing them to doubt God&;s
0.08 word question their identity in Christ
0.08 and compromise their faith this is why 2
0.08 Corinthians 10:05 instructs us to take
0.08 every thought captive to obey Christ we
0.08 must not allow our minds to be passive
0.08 battlefields where the enemy freely sws
0.08 deception instead we must actively fight
0.08 against falsehood with the truth of
0.08 script the mind also has the power to
0.08 shape faith what we believe about God
0.08 about ourselves and about the world
0.08 around us will determine how we live if
0.08 a believer fills their mind with the
0.08 promises of God they will walk in
0.08 confidence and trust in
0.08 him however if they allow fear doubt and
0.08 anxiety to take root they will live in
0.08 constant worry and defeat philippians
0.08 4:8 provides the key to a strong and
0.08 faithful mind whatever is true whatever
0.08 is honorable whatever is just whatever
0.08 is pure whatever is lovely whatever is
0.08 commendable if there is any excellence
0.08 if there is anything worthy of praise
0.08 think about these things the mind must
0.08 be disciplined to dwell on what is godly
0.08 not what is corrupt
0.08 the power of the mind is not just in
0.08 what it absorbs but in how it is
0.08 disciplined believers must guard their
0.08 thoughts reject sinful influences and
0.08 continually renew their minds through
0.08 prayer and meditation on God&;s word a
0.08 mind that is surrendered to Christ will
0.08 lead to a life that glorifies him the
0.08 battle begins in the mind but through
0.08 the power of the Holy Spirit victory is
0.08 assured true strength is not found in
0.08 human ability personal willpower or
0.08 worldly success it is found in Christ
0.08 alone the Bible makes it clear that our
0.08 own strength is limited fleeting and
0.08 ultimately insufficient no matter how
0.08 strong a person may seem whether in
0.08 intellect physical endurance or
0.08 emotional resilience there will always
0.08 come a time when that strength fails but
0.08 for those who are in Christ true and
0.08 lasting strength comes not from within
0.08 themselves but from the one who holds
0.08 all power and authority philippians 4:13
0.08 declares "I can do all things through
0.08 Christ who strengthens
0.08 me." This verse is not about personal
0.08 achievement or
0.08 self-empowerment it is about absolute
0.08 dependence on Jesus for the ability to
0.08 endure to persevere and to overcome
0.08 life&;s greatest challenges the strength
0.08 found in Christ is different from the
0.08 strength the world promotes the world
0.08 values independence self-reliance and
0.08 pride in one&;s abilities however
0.08 scripture teaches that strength is found
0.08 in surrender paul writes in Corinthians
0.08 12:9-10 "But he said to me my grace is
0.08 sufficient for you for my power is made
0.08 perfect in weakness therefore I will
0.08 boast all the more gladly of my
0.08 weaknesses so that the power of Christ
0.08 may rest upon me for when I am weak then
0.08 I am strong
0.08 this is a profound truth god&;s power is
0.08 most evident when we acknowledge our own
0.08 weakness when we reach the end of
0.08 ourselves when our strength is exhausted
0.08 that is when we are positioned to fully
0.08 rely on Christ&;s strength the strength
0.08 of Christ is necessary for every aspect
0.08 of the Christian life it is his strength
0.08 that enables believers to resist
0.08 temptation to endure suffering to love
0.08 the unlovable and to remain faithful in
0.08 trials without Christ&;s power these
0.08 things would be impossible and is too
0.08 strong for human willpower alone
0.08 suffering is too heavy to bear and
0.08 faithfulness in the face of persecution
0.08 requires supernatural
0.08 endurance jesus told his disciples in
0.08 John 15:05 "Apart from me you can do
0.08 nothing it is only by abiding in
0.08 him remaining in close fellowship
0.08 seeking him in prayer and living
0.08 according to his word that believers can
0.08 access the strength they need another
0.08 aspect of Christ&;s strength is the peace
0.08 and confidence it provides those who
0.08 rely on their own strength are often
0.08 plagued by fear fear of failure fear of
0.08 loss fear of the unknown but those who
0.08 stand in the strength of Christ have a
0.08 firm foundation
0.08 isaiah 41:10 assures "Fear not for I am
0.08 with you be not dismayed for I am your
0.08 God i will strengthen you i will help
0.08 you i will uphold you with my righteous
0.08 right hand." The strength of Christ is
0.08 not just for enduring difficulties it is
0.08 also the source of deep peace knowing
0.08 that he is always present always
0.08 faithful and always in control true
0.08 strength is not found in
0.08 self-sufficiency but in complete
0.08 dependence on Jesus his strength never
0.08 fails never diminishes and is always
0.08 available to those who trust in him to
0.08 walk in his strength is to walk in
0.08 victory not because of what we can do
0.08 but because of what he has already done
0.08 the Christian life was never meant to be
0.08 lived in isolation from the beginning
0.08 God designed his people to live in
0.08 community supporting and encouraging one
0.08 another in faith one of the most crucial
0.08 aspects of this community is
0.08 accountability the willingness to be
0.08 held responsible for one&;s actions
0.08 beliefs and spiritual growth without
0.08 accountability believers are vulnerable
0.08 to deception sin and spiritual
0.08 stagnation proverbs 27:17 states "Iron
0.08 sharpens iron and one man sharpens
0.08 another." This sharpening process is
0.08 essential for staying on the right path
0.08 avoiding sin and growing in maturity
0.08 accountability is necessary because of
0.08 the deceitfulness of sin Hebrews 3:13
0.08 warns but exhort one another every day
0.08 as long as it is called today that none
0.08 of you may be hardened by the
0.08 deceitfulness of sin sin does not
0.08 usually appear in its most obvious and
0.08 destructive form it creeps in slowly
0.08 taking root in the heart before
0.08 manifesting in outward actions without
0.08 accountability it is easy to justify
0.08 sinful behavior ignore conviction and
0.08 drift further from God when believers
0.08 are connected to a community that speaks
0.08 truth into their lives they are more
0.08 likely to recognize sin before it takes
0.08 hold true accountability requires
0.08 humility many people resist
0.08 accountability because it exposes
0.08 weaknesses and sin making them feel
0.08 vulnerable however scripture teaches
0.08 that humility is essential for growth
0.08 james 5:16 says "Therefore confess your
0.08 sins to one another and pray for one
0.08 another that you may be healed."
0.08 Confession brings freedom and
0.08 accountability strengthens believers
0.08 against future temptation a prideful
0.08 heart resists correction but a humble
0.08 heart welcomes it knowing that
0.08 discipline leads to righteousness while
0.08 accountability helps believers guard
0.08 against sin renewal is what keeps them
0.08 moving forward in faith renewal is the
0.08 process of continually being transformed
0.08 into the likeness of Christ romans 12:02
0.08 commands "Do not be conformed to this
0.08 world but be transformed by the renewal
0.08 of your mind that by testing you may
0.08 discern what is the will of God what is
0.08 good and acceptable and perfect." This
0.08 renewal is not a one-time event but a
0.08 lifelong
0.08 process the world constantly seeks to
0.08 influence thoughts values and behaviors
0.08 which is why believers must
0.08 intentionally renew their minds with
0.08 God&;s truth renewal happens through the
0.08 power of the Holy Spirit the study of
0.08 scripture and time in prayer psalm 51:10
0.08 expresses the cry of a heart seeking
0.08 renewal create in me a clean heart oh
0.08 God and renew a right spirit within me
0.08 when believers commit themselves to
0.08 seeking God daily they experience his
0.08 transforming power replacing old sinful
0.08 patterns with new godly desires this
0.08 renewal strengthens their faith equips
0.08 them for spiritual battles and draws
0.08 them closer to Christ accountability and
0.08 renewal go hand in hand without
0.08 accountability renewal is difficult
0.08 because unchecked sin can hinder
0.08 spiritual growth without renewal
0.08 accountability can become a mere routine
0.08 rather than a transformative experience
0.08 god calls his people to live in
0.08 community to encourage one another and
0.08 to be continually renewed by his word a
0.08 Christian who embraces both
0.08 accountability and renewal will stand
0.08 firm in the faith growing in holiness
0.08 and becoming more like Christ every day
