you’ve fallen into fornication or pornography or any kind of sexual sin it doesn’t mean that you can’t be redeemed or change your ways and actually live in the way that Christ expects us to as Christians so we got to talk about this the topic of Chastity and how does that work in the equation once you’ve decided that you’re going to be very serious about your faith once you’ve decided that youve either converted or reverted and you’re really ready to honor your body in the way that God intends we got to talk about that right now on this episode of that black Catholic [Music] check oh boy so I’ve been wanting to dig into this topic for a while and you know it’s interesting because I have such a call on my heart to dig into the stuff that really matters when it comes to living a truly authentic Christian Life and I feel that so much of the conversations around relationships and sex and marriage and all these things is really focused on one specific demographic in the Catholic community and that’s usually like the young 20 something they live lives of absence and Chasity and all these beautiful things that are expected when you grow up in the church or when you’re properly formed but here’s the thing that’s not the majority of us out there okay especially if you over a certain age and you’ve been living life you’ve been out there in the world honey but you have experience in life you have lost your virginity you have had relations outside of marriage maybe you’re someone who is dealing with addiction to pornography or maybe not even addicted but you watch it maybe your heart is out changing about these kinds of things you might be in a relationship with someone right now and because you’re turning back to your faith and you’re getting really serious about your beliefs you don’t want to continue to have sexual relations outside of marriage and so we need to talk about that like and how do you do that how do you change your mind how do you really get away from the conditioning that Society has told us in this free loving culture how do you reorient yourself in a way that allows you to live in chassity to find joy in it to not give into your urges and really just honor your body in the way that God sees it that’s what I want to go ahead and get into one of the things that makes this really hard is the fact that our society sees sex as that bonding thing that’s necessary in all relationships outside of marriage and the truth of the matter is is that Society isn’t totally wrong that’s the point of sexual relations Is to be able to have a a way of bonding with your spouse and to also be in co-creation with our Lord see that’s the beauty of it sex itself is not dirty it’s not bad it’s not something that’s evil and it’s crazy how when you really get deep into the faith or you start to talk to people who are more fundamentalists about faith whether they’re Protestant or Catholic they seem to demonize sex and that’s the wrong way to go about it this was created by God for man and for woman you can go back to the Book of Genesis and see it right there as clear as day man shall leave his father’s home and cleave to his wife the Two Become One flesh what the heck do you think that means it’s like the Two Become One you move as one unit one person together as you work towards the Kingdom of Heaven the Lord says to be fruitful and multiply and the direct way to that of course is through having children so God created sex to be bonding that’s why all these hormones and all these other things are released when we do it that’s why it feels incredibly good if God didn’t want it to be good he wouldn’t have made it pleasurable you know we got to be able to have adult conversations like this because not being able to talk about sex in this way as Christan does a huge disservice to the gift that God has given us and helping to really put this in a true perspective that allows you to respect it and respect yourself and to say no when you’re ready to give your whole life over to the Lord the problem with the fundamentalists or people who are really radical about their faith is that they give all of that over to Satan now let’s not confuse the sin of lust the sin of lust is completely not what we’re talking about here that is the objectification of someone else that is looking for satis ying your own pleasure at the expense of someone else that is separating the Beauty and the sanctity of sexual relations from God taking him completely out of that picture and that is the problem that is the sin separating God from what he created that’s sin but orienting your mind to having a greater respect now that’s where you start to learn a better relationship with sexuality and pointing it where it needs to be rightfully even when you’re single even when you’re dating even when you’re in marriage because here’s the thing about Chastity like Chastity isn’t a thing that is just done when you’re single it continues in marriage Chastity is a beautiful virtue so let’s go ahead and break that down when I think about sex now it’s just I I have a different relationship after just doing lots of prayer lots of reading lots of studying particularly in the Theology of the Body the work of St John Paul II has been so transformative for me and it’s really helped me to put everything in the right perspective I want to read you this quote about exactly what Chastity is from the words of Pope John Paul II Chastity by no means signifies rejection of human sexuality or lack of esteem for it rather it signifies spiritual energy capable of Defending Love From The Perils of selfishness and aggressive iveness and able to advance it towards its full realization my stars when you look at chassity from that perspective it just makes all the other puzzle pieces put fall into place you know I really love the opening of the catechism of the Catholic church or one of the openings of it is that man has a propensity we have this great desire to know love and to seek God and in that respect when you think about love love is wanting and willing the good of another it has nothing to do necessarily with you but what is good for other people oriented to God and in that vain when you think about love and sex and just the idea of Chasity it’s not about what you want and fulfilling your needs and your needs alone about getting off your rocks off of somebody else but it’s truly looking at this beautiful act and how it can be good for the person that you supposedly love but orienting that goodness to God orienting their Humanity to God orienting their beauty and the things that are attractive to you about them to God putting it in its rightful place and when you come from that perspective you don’t want to disrespect that person you don’t want to belittle that person or objectify them to the least common denominated of who they are their bodies and what it is that you can get out of that body so abstaining and chastity isn’t just about saying no to sex because you don’t like it or it’s bad but because you have an honor for it and even further that you have a greater honor for your body and you understand the sanctity of this body that God has created for you that’s another thing in our society that’s really jumbling up the idea of the body I have spent so many years studying Anatomy Kinesiology nutrition strength training the endocrine system the overall hormonal system I’ve studied so much in a way that I have a huge respect for the human body I see it for the miracle that it is to me the body is not bad and it’s not dirty I understand that it can be baled and crumpled up by sin in each of us the concupisent that we all have but it took a couple of years for me to unpack that to see the body as the beautiful creation that God has made man is the Apex of God’s creation you go back to the Book of Genesis he made the heavens the Earth the Angels he made the Beast of the sea land and air and his final creation was his greatest the last is the first Jesus Christ tells us this in the gospels and what is the last the last was man was Humanity Made In His Image and likeness made it his Delight to glorify him and to connect with us body and soul in fact we are so great of creation and our bodies are so great that Satan himself the most beautiful angel the most beautiful creature that God created in heaven was jealous there was an Envy in him he would not serve because as an angel he had to serve us these lowly creatures not even as intelligent as we are but guess what we have that Angels don’t have we have a body and it is in that body that we’re able to connect with our Lord in a way that they they simply are unable to they’re not mortal our bodies are sacred onethird of the Angels fell because they would not serve just like their leader Lucifer our bodies are sacred they cannot have that so what does the devil do what he’s done and been successful with in this plane he is the prince of the Earth right he’s been successful in helping us to twist what the body truly is the beauty of the body why do you think the diet industry is as big as it is people are paying billions of dollars every single year to lose weight to change their bodies because they hate their bodies because they can’t accept their bodies as they are so they’re trying to fit this ideal that society and the world has put together about what’s perfect and that’s not perfection in God’s eyes we’re all trying to live up to a standard that isn’t a standard at all what’s another industry that we see that’s booming that degrades the body pornography the complete debasement sexually of our bodies the objectification and usage of our bodies and in so many ways a vehicle for human trafficking the prince of Li he is behind all of that and it separates us from God that envy that jealousy that he had he wins the battle when you don’t respect this body but the Bible tells us how sacred our bodies are first of all let’s go back to Paul in his Epistles where he says in 1 Corinthians chapter 6: 19 to 20 my favorite verse in the Bible it is the moniker and the bloodline of that your bodies are temples for the Holy Spirit who’s within you that you have received from God you are not your own you were bought at a price therefore glorify God with your bodies powerful Paul talks about in Romans about putting on the armor of God and this whole analogy that talks about the body and protecting that body and using that body to be a soldier for the Lord another line that I love is when Paul says I strike a blow to my body and I make it my slave so that way when I am done preaching to others I myself will not be disqualified for the prize but you know where else the body shows up for us in such a spectacular way there’s two places the first place I’m going to talk about is the body of our Blessed Mother pregnancy for women listen we’ve got a life growing inside of us our bodies are not our own in her body was growing our savior our Lord and she didn’t run from that responsibility you know what she said let it be done according to your word her Fiat we talk about her Fiat all the time you got to embrace that Fiat baby okay and I’m not talking about the car I’m talking about your complete laying down of your will so the will of God can guide you and our blessed mother did that and her body she offered her body as the Ark of the New Covenant as the womb in which the Savior would arrive in this world and that’s where we get to the best part of the human body in the beginning there was the word and the Word was with God and the Word was God that’s the opening of the first chapter of John but later on we see in the same chapter and the Word was made flesh and dwelt Among Us so the word of God became incarnate what does incarnate mean he took on a body caret meat body Jesus Christ talks about his body later on in John six when he talks about eating his flesh and drinking his blood the body is at the heart of everything the heart of sacredness with our Lord and where he dwells in us and of course our Lord gives up his body to save our souls when you look at the human body from that perspective the fact that our Lord came down to earth in a body in a Earthly body there’s just no way you can’t respect what he’s created so how if you respect what he’s created would you allow yourself to just be taken advantage of man or woman by anyone who cannot have that same kind of respect that you have for the body not only for your own body but the body of the person that you supposedly love and the god that lives in them that is what the importance of Chastity it’s not about hating sex or not finding pleasure with it or any of that that would be that you’re not human if you say that you don’t have any pleasure from it now I’m I’m talking to people who are psychologically healthy I’m talking to people who are physically healthy I’m talking to people who don’t have any sexual trauma that’s a whole other thing okay that’s a whole other category a lot of times of course when we’re talking about sexual trauma there’s psychological things that need to be bro broken down in prayer and therapy I’m talking to those of you who don’t deal with that you fine ain’t nothing wrong with you okay you’re human that’s human and that urge in us when you’re feeling aroused and turned on that’s human that’s normal but as creatures who have free will you have to be able to have the will have the discipline to able to keep that in its right perspective because these urges that we have are natural and here’s the thing when you decide to walk the road of chassity you decide that you’re not going to do this it’s a lot easier when you ain’t dating nobody you ain’t seeing nobody it’s just you by yourself okay but when you get into a relationship with someone that you truly love and care about that you’re trying to build a relationship towards marriage that’s where the challenge comes in that’s where the test comes in because you’re going to be with someone that you really have a lot of feelings for that you’re physically attracted to that being together and alone can put you in near occasions of sin and that’s why you got to be able to have these kind of conversations and honestly talk about why this is important to you and I’ll tell you what male or female if this is something that you’re going to walk the road of Chastity oh it’s going to be difficult out there oh yeah because in our society today nobody wants to hear this you don’t want to have sex before marriage you don’t want to indulge I’m not going to be able to get to the goodies before whatever whatever you plan or whatever you say is the rules okay I’m out and you have to be strong enough in your faith to say Hey you know peace out dude I’m G see you later because I’m not going to put my faith on the line with someone who doesn’t love me in the way that God loves me and again this isn’t isolated just for women I mean guys you are all in the same boat too from what I hear in conversations either between men that I know in my life or things that I see online but the question here is how right how do you do this how do you pull yourself into a completely different mindset the first thing for me which really opened this up in a new way was digging into theology the body and now I will sing this to till the cows come home I will shot it from every rooftop that I can but unpacking Pope John Paul II’s theologia body is I think it should be required reading for everyone who’s Catholic I don’t know I think that the Vatican needs to put out a required reading book or something and this this needs to be one of the books on there love and responsibility because it’s just so beautifully put together in a way that respects the body that respect the sanctity of marriage but is also current that speaks to the culture that we’re in today because it’s a war zone out there and even though this was written about 40 something years ago you got to think when Pope John Paul II was putting this together this was really going towards the height of the sexual Revolution I mean crazy enough Traditional Values and Christian values were still a major stronghold in this country and not just this country I’m of course speaking from an American perspective but just worldwide there was still a cultural expectation when it came to sex but it was rapidly evolving and changing compare that to what we have nowadays it’s just like a complete freeall it’s like whatever you want to do do what thou wilt you know what that’s the model of Satanism okay that is literally the model for Satanism do what thou Wist and that is what we’re dealing with today so when you go and you’re reading through this beautiful work and you can definitely read Theology of the Body by Pope John Paul II it’s it’s very heady it’s very it’s very there it’s you got to be kind of smart real smart to read it because it’s just really it’s very Superfluous in some ways in the wording it’s just it’s poetic in many ways and it’s very intellectual but there are books that break it down like there’s a version of it by Christopher West where he kind of like simplifies the whole love and responsibility thing and I’m going to put a link for that down below on Amazon so you can go ahead and pick that one up and Christopher rust himself has the Theology of the Body Institute he’s got great videos on YouTube he’s got his Spotify podcast and he has an entire website where he really has dedicated his life to getting this message out and he just courses it all this man is not paying me he don’t even know exist he don’t know who I am okay but I know who he is and I’ve been following his work for a while okay him and his wife they have a podcast together and it’s just been so transformative so that’s the first place I think you need to go to unpack this stuff the next thing is just really sitting down and looking at your life and what you need to eliminate to help you to keep chassity top of mind and what do I mean by that honey you’re going to have to go through your music catalog you’re going to go through your Netflix list you going to have to go through your Hulu account your Prime all that stuff and start eliminating the material that pushes you towards being un chased un chassity is that a word un chassity it’s a word now it’s a word right now honey for instance I had to kind of stop watching one of my favorite shows which is Outlander because honey I live for those love scenes okay him and Claire J Jamie and Claire Oh Be Still My Heart he’s fine child okay and people want to act like women aren’t like aroused visually in the way that men are honey listen we’re human too okay you flash some gorgeous man shirtless muscles everywhere glistening skin my mind is going to go on all kinds of directions okay so I need to have custody of the eyes custody of the eyes and be like okay I can watch thism more okay because I’m just thinking too much about this man okay so you might have to go through your list and get rid of stuff and not watch it or fast forward through them parts and it’s crazy how your brain starts to change after a while because I when I’m confronted with this kind of stuff these kind of scenes and movies and me watching something and love scenes come up it’s a normal part of a culture if I’m sitting down in you know in a place where I can control it I’ll just fast forward to that part I don’t want to for me it just feels like I’m peering in on this intimate moment that I should not be seeing and it doesn’t feel good it doesn’t feel good to be a Voyer to be vois watching someone have an intimate relation with someone and it’s the same thing if you struggle with pornography and it distorts your relationship because now you have a culture that’s telling you that that’s okay if you are single and you don’t have anybody go ahead and watch pornography go ahead and self-pleasure and get your rocks off because you want to be able to explore yourself and know what you need and want look if that’s the life that you want to subscribe to is that if that’s the hill you want to die on you think that’s okay honey listen this ain’t the video for you but I’m going to tell you right now that that the best thing that I have done for myself as an adult is to not watch that material at all and I think that in order for you to truly start to have that respect for the body you’ve got to get rid of it so if stopping cold turkey is something that you can’t do you need to go ahead and see about talking to someone get a spiritual director get a therapist a lot of this stuff is addiction and take care of it get it out of the way get it out of your system now another unsuspecting way to kind of make chassity a really important thing in your life is by way of taking better care of your body and your health now y’all know that I’m a fitness expert that’s what I do for a living I’m a coach been a trainer for a long time and I was a professional bodybuilder and putting the hours that I have put into the gym putting the time into eating well being healthy making sure that my body is this instrument that can be used by God in the best way possible keeping myself mobile and agile and just youthful to be able to do what he needs me to do on this planet has been so important to me I had to reorient my goals when it comes to training from those that are driven by Vanity to those that are driven by the kingdom I want to be healthy so that way I can be here to do God’s work to the best of my abilities and because I put in that time I put in that effort I put in the work in the gym my workouts and my eating I am in a point where I’m not going to just let any joeo go ahead and get a joy ride up in here okay I’ve never been a promiscuous person but now that I’ve completely turned my life and my business and my body and everything over to God giv it to him as a Living Sacrifice I am duy 100% behind not letting anyone defile this gift that God has given me so in many respects it gives me that discipline to be able to say no and to be in situations where when I am connecting with someone that I’m trying to build a relationship with someone I’m dating who might want to cross those lines because maybe they don’t have that same degree about of respect about the body and chassity that I have I can put my foot down and have no regrets and it’s because I take care of this body I love the body that God has given me I I will absolutely not let myself be debased and reduced down to my body just for the pleasure just for being able to please someone else or to fall into the traps of the pressures that I might face because someone else doesn’t want to wait so those are my thoughts around chassity but what are yours you know a lot of people struggle with this and it’s one of those like Last Frontier conversations that you have once you come back to the faith and once you start to see the light you start to see wow I’ve got to really change and be different when Christ calls you you have to be willing to be become a new creation and changing the way that you see sex and embracing Chastity is a part of that transformation .

0.04 conversations around relationships and
0.04 sex and marriage and all these things is
0.04 really focused on one specific
0.04 demographic in the Catholic community
0.04 and that&;s usually like the young 20
0.04 something they live lives of absence and
0.04 Chasity and all these beautiful things
0.04 that are expected when you grow up in
0.04 the church or when you&;re properly
0.04 formed but here&;s the thing that&;s not
0.04 the majority of us out there okay
0.04 especially if you over a certain age and
0.04 you&;ve been living life you&;ve been out
0.04 there in the world honey but you have
0.04 experience in life you have lost your
0.04 virginity you have had relations outside
0.04 of marriage maybe you&;re someone who is
0.04 dealing with addiction to pornography or
0.04 maybe not even addicted but you watch it
0.04 maybe your heart is out changing about
0.04 these kinds of things you might be in a
0.04 relationship with someone right now and
0.04 because you&;re turning back to your
0.04 faith and you&;re getting really serious
0.04 about your beliefs you don&;t want to
0.04 continue to have sexual relations
0.04 outside of marriage and so we need to
0.04 talk about that like and how do you do
0.04 that how do you change your mind how do
0.04 you really get away from the
0.04 conditioning that Society has told us in
0.04 this free loving culture how do you
0.04 reorient yourself in a way that allows
0.04 you to live in chassity to find joy in
0.04 it to not give into your urges and
0.04 really just honor your body in the way
0.04 that God sees it that&;s what I want to
0.04 go ahead and get into one of the things
0.04 that makes this really hard is the fact
0.04 that our society sees sex as that
0.04 bonding thing that&;s necessary in all
0.04 relationships outside of marriage and
0.04 the truth of the matter is is that
0.04 Society isn&;t totally wrong that&;s the
0.04 point of sexual relations Is to be able
0.04 to have a a way of bonding with your
0.04 spouse and to also be in co-creation
0.04 with our Lord see that&;s the beauty of
0.04 it sex itself is not dirty it&;s not bad
0.04 it&;s not something that&;s evil and it&;s
0.04 crazy how when you really get deep into
0.04 the faith or you start to talk to people
0.04 who are more fundamentalists about faith
0.04 whether they&;re Protestant or Catholic
0.04 they seem to demonize sex and that&;s the
0.04 wrong way to go about it this was
0.04 created by God for man and for woman you
0.04 can go back to the Book of Genesis and
0.04 see it right there as clear as day man
0.04 shall leave his father&;s home and cleave
0.04 to his wife the Two Become One flesh
0.04 what the heck do you think that means
0.04 it&;s like the Two Become One you move as
0.04 one unit one person together as you work
0.04 towards the Kingdom of Heaven the Lord
0.04 says to be fruitful and multiply and the
0.04 direct way to that of course is through
0.04 having children so God created sex to be
0.04 bonding that&;s why all these hormones
0.04 and all these other things are released
0.04 when we do it that&;s why it feels
0.04 incredibly good if God didn&;t want it to
0.04 be good he wouldn&;t have made it
0.04 pleasurable you know we got to be able
0.04 to have adult conversations like this
0.04 because not being able to talk about sex

0.04 their faith is that they give all of

0.04 someone else that is looking for satis
0.04 ying your own pleasure at the expense of

0.04 problem that is the sin separating God
0.04 from what he created that&;s sin but
0.04 orienting your mind to having a greater
0.04 respect now that&;s where you start to
0.04 learn a better relationship with
0.04 sexuality and pointing it where it needs
0.04 to be rightfully even when you&;re single
0.04 even when you&;re dating even when you&;re
0.04 in marriage because here&;s the thing
0.04 about Chastity like Chastity isn&;t a
0.04 thing that is just done when you&;re
0.04 single it continues in marriage Chastity
0.04 is a beautiful virtue so let&;s go ahead
0.04 and break that down when I think about
0.04 sex now it&;s just I I have a different
0.04 relationship after just doing lots of
0.04 prayer lots of reading lots of studying
0.04 particularly in the Theology of the Body
0.04 the work of St John Paul II has been so
0.04 transformative for me and it&;s really
0.04 helped me to put everything in the right
0.04 perspective I want to read you this
0.04 quote about exactly what Chastity is
0.04 from the words of Pope John Paul II
0.04 Chastity by no means signifies
0.04 rejection of human sexuality or lack of
0.04 esteem for it rather it signifies
0.04 spiritual energy capable of Defending
0.04 Love From The Perils of
0.04 selfishness and aggressive iveness and
0.04 able to advance it towards its full
0.04 realization my stars when you look at
0.04 chassity from that perspective it just
0.04 makes all the other puzzle pieces put
0.04 fall into place you know I really love
0.04 the opening of the catechism of the
0.04 Catholic church or one of the openings
0.04 of it is that man has a propensity we
0.04 have this great desire to know love and
0.04 to seek God and in that respect when you
0.04 think about love love is wanting and
0.04 willing the good of another it has
0.04 nothing to do necessarily with you but
0.04 what is good for other people oriented
0.04 to God and in that vain when you think
0.04 about love and sex and just the idea of
0.04 Chasity it&;s not about what you want and
0.04 fulfilling your needs and your needs
0.04 alone about getting off your rocks off
0.04 of somebody else but it&;s truly looking
0.04 at this beautiful act and how it can be
0.04 good for the person that you supposedly
0.04 love but orienting that goodness to God
0.04 orienting their Humanity to God
0.04 orienting their beauty and the things
0.04 that are attractive to you about them to
0.04 God putting it in its rightful place and
0.04 when you come from that perspective you
0.04 don&;t want to disrespect that person you
0.04 don&;t want to belittle that person or
0.04 objectify them to the least common
0.04 denominated of who they are their bodies
0.04 and what it is that you can get out of
0.04 that body so abstaining and chastity
0.04 isn&;t just about saying no to sex
0.04 because you don&;t like it or it&;s bad
0.04 but because you have an honor for it and
0.04 even further that you have a greater
0.04 honor for your body and you understand
0.04 the sanctity of this body that God has
0.04 created for you that&;s another thing in
0.04 our society that&;s really jumbling up
0.04 the idea of the body I have spent so
0.04 many years studying Anatomy Kinesiology
0.04 nutrition strength training the
0.04 endocrine system the overall hormonal
0.04 system I&;ve studied so much in a way
0.04 that I have a huge respect for the human
0.04 body I see it for the miracle that it is
0.04 to me the body is not bad and it&;s not
0.04 dirty I understand that it can be baled
0.04 and crumpled up by sin in each of us the
0.04 concupisent that we all have but it took
0.04 a couple of years for me to unpack that
0.04 to see the body as the beautiful
0.04 creation that God has made man is the
0.04 Apex of God&;s creation you go back to
0.04 the Book of Genesis he made the heavens
0.04 the Earth the Angels he made the Beast
0.04 of the sea land and air and his final
0.04 creation was his greatest the last is
0.04 the first Jesus Christ tells us this in
0.04 the gospels and what is the last the
0.04 last was man was Humanity Made In His
0.04 Image and likeness made it his Delight
0.04 to glorify him and to connect with us
0.04 body and soul in fact we are so great of
0.04 creation and our bodies are so great
0.04 that Satan himself the most beautiful
0.04 angel the most beautiful creature that
0.04 God created in heaven was jealous there
0.04 was an Envy in him he would not serve
0.04 because as an angel he had to serve us
0.04 these lowly creatures not even as
0.04 intelligent as we are but guess what we
0.04 have that Angels don&;t have we have a
0.04 body and it is in that body that we&;re
0.04 able to connect with our Lord in a way

0.04 helping us to twist what the body truly
0.04 is the beauty of the body why do you
0.04 think the diet industry is as big as it
0.04 is people are paying billions of dollars
0.04 every single year to lose weight to
0.04 change their bodies because they hate
0.04 their bodies because they can&;t accept
0.04 their bodies as they are so they&;re
0.04 trying to fit this ideal that society
0.04 and the world has put together about
0.04 what&;s perfect and that&;s not perfection
0.04 in God&;s eyes we&;re all trying to live
0.04 up to a standard that isn&;t a standard
0.04 at all what&;s another industry that we
0.04 see that&;s booming that degrades the
0.04 body pornography the complete debasement
0.04 sexually of our bodies the
0.04 objectification and usage of our bodies
0.04 and in so many ways a vehicle for human
0.04 trafficking the prince of Li he is
0.04 behind all of that and it separates us
0.04 from God that envy that jealousy that he
0.04 had he wins the battle when you don&;t
0.04 respect this body but the Bible tells us
0.04 how sacred our bodies are first of all
0.04 let&;s go back to Paul in his Epistles
0.04 where he says in 1 Corinthians chapter
0.04 6: 19 to 20 my favorite verse in the
0.04 Bible it is the moniker and the
0.04 bloodline of my Fitness business

0.04 talk about is the body of our Blessed
0.04 Mother pregnancy for women listen we&;ve
0.04 got a life growing inside of us our
0.04 bodies are not our own in her body was
0.04 growing our savior our Lord and she
0.04 didn&;t run from that responsibility you

0.04 the god that lives in them that is what

0.04 about hating sex or not finding pleasure
0.04 with it or any of that that would be
0.04 that you&;re not human if you say that
0.04 you don&;t have any pleasure from it now
0.04 I&;m I&;m talking to people who are
0.04 psychologically healthy I&;m talking to
0.04 people who are physically healthy I&;m
0.04 talking to people who don&;t have any
0.04 sexual trauma that&;s a whole other thing
0.04 okay that&;s a whole other category a lot
0.04 of times of course when we&;re talking
0.04 about sexual trauma there&;s
0.04 psychological things that need to be bro
0.04 broken down in prayer and therapy I&;m
0.04 talking to those of you who don&;t deal
0.04 with that you fine ain&;t nothing wrong
0.04 with you okay you&;re human that&;s human
0.04 and that urge in us when you&;re feeling
0.04 aroused and turned on that&;s human
0.04 that&;s normal but as creatures who have
0.04 free will you have to be able to have
0.04 the will have the discipline to able to
0.04 keep that in its right perspective
0.04 because these urges that we have are
0.04 natural and here&;s the thing when you
0.04 decide to walk the road of chassity you
0.04 decide that you&;re not going to do this
0.04 it&;s a lot easier when you ain&;t dating
0.04 nobody you ain&;t seeing nobody it&;s just
0.04 you by yourself okay but when you get
0.04 into a relationship with someone that
0.04 you truly love and care about that
0.04 you&;re trying to build a relationship
0.04 towards marriage that&;s where the
0.04 challenge comes in that&;s where the test
0.04 comes in because you&;re going to be with
0.04 someone that you really have a lot of
0.04 feelings for that you&;re physically
0.04 attracted to that being together and
0.04 alone can put you in near occasions of
0.04 sin and that&;s why you got to be able to
0.04 have these kind of conversations and
0.04 honestly talk about why this is
0.04 important to you and I&;ll tell you what
0.04 male or female if this is something that
0.04 you&;re going to walk the road of
0.04 Chastity oh it&;s going to be difficult
0.04 out there oh yeah because in our society
0.04 today nobody wants to hear this you
0.04 don&;t want to have sex before marriage
0.04 you don&;t want to indulge I&;m not going
0.04 to be able to get to the goodies before
0.04 whatever whatever you plan or whatever
0.04 you say is the rules okay I&;m out and
0.04 you have to be strong enough in your
0.04 faith to say Hey you know peace out dude
0.04 I&;m G see you later because I&;m not
0.04 going to put my faith on the line with
0.04 someone who doesn&;t love me in the way
0.04 that God loves me and again this isn&;t
0.04 isolated just for women I mean guys you
0.04 are all in the same boat too from what I
0.04 hear in conversations either between men
0.04 that I know in my life or things that I
0.04 see online but the question here is how
0.04 right how do you do this how do you pull
0.04 yourself into a completely different
0.04 mindset the first thing for me which
0.04 really opened this up in a new way was
0.04 digging into theology the body and now I
0.04 will sing this to till the cows come
0.04 home I will shot it from every rooftop
0.04 that I can but unpacking Pope John Paul
0.04 II&;s theologia body is I think it should
0.04 be required reading for everyone who&;s
0.04 Catholic I don&;t know I think that the
0.04 Vatican needs to put out a required
0.04 reading book or something and this this
0.04 needs to be one of the books on there
0.04 love and responsibility because it&;s
0.04 just so beautifully put together in a
0.04 way that respects the body that respect
0.04 the sanctity of marriage but is also
0.04 current that speaks to the culture that
0.04 we&;re in today because it&;s a war zone
0.04 out there and even though this was
0.04 written about 40 something years ago you
0.04 got to think when Pope John Paul II was
0.04 putting this together this was really
0.04 going towards the height of the sexual
0.04 Revolution I mean crazy enough
0.04 Traditional Values and Christian values
0.04 were still a major stronghold in this
0.04 country and not just this country I&;m of
0.04 course speaking from an American
0.04 perspective but just worldwide there was
0.04 still a cultural expectation when it
0.04 came to sex but it was rapidly evolving
0.04 and changing compare that to what we
0.04 have nowadays it&;s just like a complete
0.04 freeall it&;s like whatever you want to
0.04 do do what thou wilt you know what
0.04 that&;s the model of Satanism okay that
0.04 is literally the model for Satanism do
0.04 what thou Wist and that is what we&;re
0.04 dealing with today so when you go and
